CVE-2021-0996
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2021-12-15
- WeaknessCWE-125
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
In nfaHciCallback of HciEventManager.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure over NFC with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-12Android ID: A-181346545
