CVE-2022-47911
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2023-01-18
- WeaknessCWE-78
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
Sewio’s Real-Time Location System (RTLS) Studio version 2.0.0 up to and including version 2.6.2 does not properly validate the input module name to the backup services of the software. This could allow a remote attacker to access sensitive functions of the application and execute arbitrary system commands.
