CVE-2022-30308
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2022-06-13
- WeaknessCWE-78 · CWE-863
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
In Festo Controller CECC-X-M1 product family in multiple versions, the http-endpoint "cecc-x-web-viewer-request-on" POST request doesn’t check for port syntax. This can result in unauthorized execution of system commands with root privileges due to improper access control command injection.
