CVE-2022-1737
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2022-07-12
- WeaknessCWE-787
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
Pyramid Solutions' affected products, the Developer and DLL kits for EtherNet/IP Adapter and EtherNet/IP Scanner, are vulnerable to an out-of-bounds write, which may allow an unauthorized attacker to send a specially crafted packet that may result in a denial-of-service condition.
