CVE-2018-18997
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2019-01-03
- WeaknessCWE-79
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
Pluto Safety PLC Gateway Ethernet devices in ABB GATE-E1 and GATE-E2 all versions allows an unauthenticated attacker using the administrative web interface to insert an HTML/Javascript payload into any of the device properties, which may allow an attacker to display/execute the payload in a visitor browser.
