CVE-2017-16748
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2018-08-20
- WeaknessCWE-287
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
An attacker can log into the local Niagara platform (Niagara AX Framework Versions 3.8 and prior or Niagara 4 Framework Versions 4.4 and prior) using a disabled account name and a blank password, granting the attacker administrator access to the Niagara system.
