CVE-2015-5987
No exploitation reported by the sources we read.
- Published2015-12-31
- Fixed in2.50\(aazi.0\)c0
Am I affected?
Debian, Ubuntu or Red Hat sometimes backport a fix without changing the upstream version number: such a version reads « to verify », never « affected ».With a domain, we read the version its public headers and pages expose. A distribution build can carry the fix under an older number.
Description
Belkin F9K1102 2 devices with firmware 2.10.17 use an improper algorithm for selecting the ID value in the header of a DNS query, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof responses by predicting this value.
